Piet, it is supremely ironic that Angie Motshekga bleated to SADTU about “marching towards socialism”considering that, just recently, the Public Investment Corporation (who manages the pensions of public teachers among others) has invested in the private schools company Curr0!

But maybe we’re not giving Angie enough credit- maybe her roundabout idea of socialism is really to funnel resources from the public expropriators back into private, productive hands? We can dream…
