Striking: the solution to all life’s problems

On October 16, 2012, in Uncategorized, by Russell Lamberti

From this excellent Business Day piece on the rolling mass strike action hitting South Africa:

“Production has now been halted at the entire KDC operation, with 19,500 of the 26,700 workers at the mine — which produces more than a million ounces of gold a year — on strike.

The KDC East strike was sparked by workers’ unhappiness with the NUM leadership, which the union had been unable to address with fresh elections.”

You got that?  Unionised workers are striking because they’re unhappy with their union!

How about switching union chaps?
