The US and Europe have, through sanctions on the Iranian regime, orchestrated a collapse of the Iranian rial, which has resulted in hyperinflation, a shortage of goods and services with many shops closing down, and now also riots in the streets.
Furthermore, the public are aiming their anger at the Ahmadinejad regime. Journalist Reza Asadi writes on twitter: “#Iran papers launch an all-out attack on Ahmadinejad, mocking, “If u can’t fix the rial, how can u manage the world!?”
This is what a real currency war looks like. Another regime nearly toppled, another mission nearly accomplished for the Empire of the US.
