While the western media was focused on the Boston marathon bombing this week, Iraq continued to be a bloody mess of a post-war apocalyptic bombing-zone, where the US interfered and murdered Saddam Hussein, leaving a power vacuum while suppressing the ability of Iraqis to create spontaneous law and order by themselves.

On Monday, 75 people were killed and many more injured by bomb blasts and yesterday a further 42 people were killed and many more injured, also in bomb blasts.
